It would help out with space as I have a wireless Microsoft Keyboard/Mouse set now I use on laptop. It hooks up via USB. The keyboard does do the 'bios' and 'safe mode' connections, but I'm not sure how as it's USB (at least on my motherboard)? I've had a couple of computer freezes (which I don't think are related to the keyboard) where the USB part stopped working and I needed to plug in a PS2 mouse or keyboard to recover.
